Sire horses Portreath Beach

A distant view from the Pepper Pot above Portreath ... the Shire Horses from nearby Treskillard being taken for their early morning dip with their 'handlers' ... later seen heading for the Portreath Arms Hotel for a 'rub down and a warm up' (that's the handlers, of course !!) ... the horses were back in their transport

They are well worth a visit if you have an interest in Shire Horses ... and the Carriage Museum is full of historical interest ...
